Yes, you can transfer your existing cell phone number to SpeedTalk Mobile. This process is called number porting and allows you to keep your current phone number when switching to SpeedTalk Mobile. What do I need to port in my number to SpeedTalk Mobile ?
To port your existing cell phone number to SpeedTalk Mobile, you will need the following:
- Your current phone number must be active with your existing carrier.
- You need to have a SpeedTalk Mobile SIM card (unused and not activated with another number).
- Have a SpeedTalk Mobile plan to activate the service. If your SIM card already comes with a plan, then you can proceed with the port, otherwise it will ask you to choose a plan.
- Provide your account number and password from your current carrier during the porting process.
- Start the porting process at least 5 business days before canceling your current service to avoid service interruption.
Make sure your phone is in good standing with your current carrier, and do not cancel your current service before the porting is complete.

What is a Port out?
“Port out” refers to the process of transferring your phone number from SpeedTalk Mobile to a new service provider. When you decide to switch carriers and want to keep your existing number, the new provider will initiate a port out request to SpeedTalk Mobile to move your number to their network. Here are some important points about porting out from SpeedTalk Mobile:
- You must contact the new provider to start the port out process.
- The port out process is mainly an automated process, when all port out information is submitted correctly by the new provider.
- If you port out your number before 90 days from the first activation, a $19 service fee applies.
- Your SpeedTalk Mobile service will be deactivated once the new provider successfully ports your number.
What info do i need to port out my number to another company?
To port out your number from SpeedTalk Mobile, you will need to provide your Account Number, PIN, and the ZIP Code associated with your SpeedTalk Mobile account to your new carrier. These details are required by the new provider to initiate the port out process smoothly. If you don’t have this information, you can contact SpeedTalk Mobile Customer Support to obtain it.
