We will ship you a SIM card with activation instructions. Once you receive our Alarm SIM card you can activate it with a new number (activation instructions provided on the SIM card kit) the new number will be assigned to that SIM card (the plan cycle will start from the time you first activate it) and you can start using it on your GSM based Alarm Unit.

For our service to work with your Alarm System make sure your Alarm System is a GSM device and check our coverage map for coverage in your area. Our plans are compatible with all GSM 4G LTE devices. You can check coverage and enter your full address to get exact coverage to check service is available in your area.

Please Note: 2G & 3G services might not be available in all areas due to carrier Decommissioning/ shutdown of these frequencies in the US, SpeedTalk Mobile recommends using 4G or newer devices for better service.
Existing SpeedTalk customers who are using the service on their 2G or 3G device, can continue purchase SpeedTalk products to refills/reup their existing accounts.

At the moment Alarm SIM powered by SpeedTalk does not offer any roaming (Domestic nor International) as such you will not be able to use your device if you are off the network or if you are outside of the U.S. We are committed to providing the best coverage for its customers. We are working hard every day with our carrier partners to expand coverage through the U.S.

After get a GSM alarm system from manufacturer or shop, now it’s time to get a new SIM card from SpeedTalk Mobile. Typically, users want to secure their house without monthly monitoring fee,  so it’s better to get a SIM card that doesn’t charge the rent fee.   You just need to pay the fee, when alarm system make phone call and send SMS alert.

Before user insert SIM Card, please note following information:

1. For GSM alarm system, it only support GSM. you need to get a valid GSM or 3G SIM card for alarm system.
2. Before use the SIM Card, please check whether it is valid or not.
3. Make sure that the SIM Card without PIN code. if there is PIN code, the alarm system will can’t use GSM service.

Note: many people ask if they need to use the 3G connection. Now 3G network is covered majority of countries. The 3G network connection with benefits of large data transmission. Non of gsm alarm systems send data via 3G network. When choose the SIM card or network operators, if the network operators either have coverage in an area with 3G or 2G, then you can use it to the GSM alarm systems.
